Report Title: Report on Observation of the Health related Programmes of UNICEF Bangladesh
Abstract:
Public Health related programme means the work which has association with Public Health. This field work is conducted to find out the executing strategy of a health programme, the impact of that health programme in community people and gather experience as a student of Public Health discipline.
The organisation UNICEF Bangladesh does various types of health-related works. The main focus of UNICEF is the children. For this, they do everything what is relevant to children directly or indirectly. Healthy Children is the root of a healthy nation. This is referred to the life cycle approach where all the phases of life are included. UNICEF does not directly implement any programme of its own. They support government with fund, policy making, health workforce developing etc. UNICEF support various health programme arranged by the government. A great health situation outcome has seen for the programme of UNICEF. The programme like EPI, SCANU has good outcomes for reducing mortality and preventing death due to preventable diseases. Other programmes also make impact in the health situation.
Community people especially children are benefited by the programmes of UNICEF Bangladesh.
